CHARLES BEXFIELD
Charles Bexfield has a profound passion for gemstones with an expertise that is widely respected. Known for his hands-on approach, Charles personally oversees sourcing, polishing, and manufacturing to ensure every piece meets the highest standards. As one of the youngest members of the London Diamond Bourse, he brings a fresh perspective to this historic institution.

Charles developed an interest in gemstones, minerals and crystals from a young age, influenced by his upbringing around antiques and fine objects. This exposure led him to pursue formal training in gemmology and a career in the trade.

​In addition to running the business, Charles is enthusiastic to share his passion for the industry as a tutor for the renowned gemmology and diamond diplomas at The Gemmological Association of Great Britain. He is a sought-after speaker, delivering insights at conferences and events all over the world.

The combination of a love of gemstones, in-house lapidary with the ability to educate makes for a very dynamic business.
SAM BEXFIELD
With a deep passion for gemmology and an uncompromising eye for detail, Sam provides years of expertise in identifying, grading and sourcing exceptional stones. Trained to the highest standards and accredited by leading gemmological institutions, she ensures every gemstone meets strict criteria for authenticity, quality, and brilliance. You’ll often find her at trade shows all over the world procuring new inventory.
Drawing from her background as an international buyer, Sam works closely with clients to provide expert guidance, whether you're sourcing the perfect gemstone or curating a diverse collection for your business. Her knowledge and precision guarantee confidence in every stone — and every decision.
After years of working side by side, Charles and Sam are now married and combine their knowledge and passion to drive Charles Bexfield Ltd into the future.
DANTE GARGARO
Dante Gargaro is a recent graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Gemmology and Jewellery Studies from the renowned Birmingham School of Jewellery. His decision to pursue this field stems from a lifelong fascination with fine gemstones and distinctive jewellery, a passion that has shaped his educational and career path from an early age.

Throughout his higher education, Dante gained hands-on experience in a variety of roles across the jewellery trade. This exposure has provided him with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, allowing him to develop expertise both in laboratory environments and in customer-facing positions. His diverse background has equipped him with valuable insights into every aspect of the jewellery world, from technical analysis to client interaction.
